Everybody may tow a trailer with the total weight of 750 kilos.
Category B:
You are allowed to tow a trailer with the combined maximum weight of the car and the trailer, not exceeding 3500 kilos.
Category B96:
You are allowed to tow a trailer with the combined maximum weight of the car and the trailer, not exceeding 4250 kilos.
Category BE:
You are allowed to tow a trailer with the momentarily weight, not exceeding the weight according to the registration documents of the car.
Category C1:
You are allowed to tow a trailer with the total maximum weight of the trailer, not exceeding 750 kilos.
Category C1E:
You are allowed to tow a trailer with the combined maximum weight of the car and the trailer, not exceeding 12000 kilos.
For all categories:
The momentarily weight of the trailer must not exceed what the car is allowed to tow, according to the registration documents of the car.
Speed delimitations:
Maximum speed while towing a trailer without brakes is 60 km/h , if the momentarily total weight of the trailer is over 300 kilos.
Maximum speed while towing a trailer with brakes is 80 km/h.
